You need just the name of one of the person traveling in order to make a booking along with flight number, airline’s name, date and time of the departure / arrival.

The one way from/to Honolulu or from/to Waikiki costs $19.95 (taxes/fees incl.) per person including one carry-on and two pieces of luggage per passenger.

The round trip from/to Honolulu airport or from/to Waikiki costs $39.90 (taxes/fees incl.) per person including one carry-on and two pieces of luggage per passenger.

No. You don’t have to pay for your infant seat as long as the infant will be seated on a lap of an adult.

Also, we currently don’t provide car seats. However, you will need to pay for a seat if you are planning to bring your own car seat and use it.

Any children 5 years and below are free as long as they will be seated on a lap of an adult. Also, on commercial vehicles, car seats are not required.

Before You Travel

Each passenger is allowed 2 pieces of luggage (one checked luggage and one carry-on lugggage). Carry-ons must be placed on your lap and in your possession at all times. All arrangements will need to be paid in advance via credit card. If additional charges occur at the airport a credit card will need to be secured.

Yes. Must be reserved and paid for in advance as follows:

  • Golf Bags – $6.00
  • Skis – $12.00
  • Snowboards – $12.00
  • Surfboards – $12.00

We do not handle scooters, non-collapsible wheelchairs, wind surfboards, large trunks or any other such item.

You will be met in baggage claim or outside of customs depends where your flight is coming in from. Our porters wear red shirts with VIP Trans written on them. They will assist you with your luggage and will cart them out to the shuttle bus that is waiting for you.

Don’t worry if your plane arrives early or late. We monitor all arriving flights. However, you are responsible for monitoring your departure flight from Hawaii.

You may be permitted to travel on the shuttle without any additional payment subject to seat availability.

Please note we cannot always guarantee there will be spare seats, especially at busy times since passengers traveling on their booked transfer have their seats reserved and will be boarded first. Priority is always given to passengers who have pre-booked for that specific transfer.

Yes you can. We understand your travel plans may change. With that in mind, VIP Trans has a very simple cancellation policy: regardless of whether you made your reservation online, or via our 866 number, just give us 24 hours notice prior to your pickup time and we will give you a full refund. Refunds will be credited back to your credit card. Refunds normally show up on your account within 3-5 business days.

Unfortunately, VIP Trans cannot refund payment if cancelled with less than 24 hours notice prior to scheduled pickup time or in the event of a no-show.

Group Charter Transfer

VIP Trans must receive cancellations in written form (e-mail or fax) 24 to 48 hours or more prior to pick up time for there to be a refund. Cancellations received between 24 to 47 hours prior to first date of service will be entitled to 50% refund. Cancellations received 48 hours or more before first date of service will be entitled to 100% refund.

Those that are received under 24 hours prior, forfeit their entitlement to any possible refund. However, all claims for actual refunds must be made in writing (email or faxed) by VIP within thirty (30) days from the date of service.

Refund requests are processed after the completion of all services and all refunds are approved or disapproved by VIP Trans in its discretion. Any credit card payment processed will automatically be assessed a 20% service charge if a refund is approved by VIP Trans.

Consumption of alcohol while aboard our vehicles is prohibited.

There is a cleaning fee starting from $300.00, which will be charged upon findings of excessive trash/unconsumed items left behind on our vehicles by clients/groups. Please be sure to kokua in keeping our vehicles clean.

Actual charter hours may occasionally exceed estimates due to deviations in route pursuant to the CLIENT’S/Tour Leader’s request (i.e Change in location stop or change in pick up time, etc.). Should actual hours be exceeded by 15 minutes or more from the estimated time, the CLIENT will be assessed additional charges for the overage. All charges are calculated/prorated to the nearest half hour.
